LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Portions of the 405 Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed this weekend as crews prepare for “Carmageddon II.”
The northbound lanes between Getty Center Drive and Ventura Boulevard will shut down about 11 p.m. Saturday evening and won’t reopen until 9 a.m. Sunday.
The ramps in the area may close as early as 7 p.m.
Construction crews are preparing for the final demolition phase of the Mulholland Bridge.
The full 53-hour closure begins in two weeks.
