ENCINO (CBSLA.com) — An explosion reported at an underground vault in Encino has left hundreds of people without power.
Crews with the Department of Water and Power were working to restore power Friday evening to as many as 560 customers following the incident.
Firefighters were alerted to the explosion about 3:10 p.m. It occurred at Woodley Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.
There were no reports of any injuries.
No further information was immediately available.
