MISSION HILLS (CBSLA.com) — An 85-year-old man suffering from early stages of dementia was found Wednesday night after his family reported him missing in the San Fernando Valley.

William Dane Fogle was reported missing at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after leaving his home in the 14000 block of Fox Street in Mission Hills.

He was on his way to a doctor’s appointment in Encino, authorities said.

Fogle has been reunited with his family and is in good condition.
