AGUA DULCE (CBSLA.com) — Two people were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 23-year-old man and beating his mother unconscious in Agua Dulce Wednesday.

A neighbor called authorities to the home on the 30000 block of Briggs Road, north of Santa Clarita, shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to Deputy Mike Luter.

The son was reportedly located in a canyon.

Authorities report marijuana might have been grown at the victims’ home.

The suspects are being held at the sheriff’s Santa Clarita Valley Station.
