LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their preliminary schedule for the 2013 season Wednesday.
The team will start the season at home with Opening Day slated for Monday, April 1 against the San Francisco Giants.
The Dodgers will finish the regular season at home against the Colorado Rockies on Sept. 29.
“The Dodgers’ 2013 home slate once again reignites the historic Dodgers-Yankees rivalry as New York will visit Dodger Stadium just prior to the 2013 trade deadline on July 30 and 31,” the team said in a statement. “This will mark the Yankees’ third trip to Dodger Stadium since Interleague Play began in 1997.”
Several American league teams will visit the Chavez Ravine, including the Boston Red Socks, the Angels, and the Tampa Bay Rays who will make their first trip to Dodger Stadium.
