Chargers' Home Opener Is Likely To Be Blacked Out In LA Market

UPDATE: Chargers Get 24-Hour Extension In Attempt To Sell Out And Lift TV Blackout

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The Chargers' home opener against the Tennessee Titans will most likely be blacked out on Sunday due to 'several thousand tickets' unsold.

Since Los Angeles is the secondary market of the Chargers, they will also be included in the blackout rules if they don't sell out by the deadline of 1:25PM, Thursday.

CBS Los Angeles will make a decision Thursday on what game it will replace.

The New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers is a strong possibility to show as part of the NFL on CBS double-header.

The morning game will be Raiders at Dolphins at 10AM.

The Chargers will be honoring hall-of-fame linebacker Junior Seau, who played for the Bolts for 12 years, by wearing a decal with his number of 55 on their helmets.
