$10K Reward Offered For Info In Deadly Hit-And-Run
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A $10,000 reward was being offered Wednesday for information leading to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver who killed a 38-year-old man and injured the victim's 7-year-old daughter.
Jose Arreola and his daughter were crossing Santa Ana Boulevard in a crosswalk at Watts Avenue in the Willowbrook area about 5:50 p.m. June 6, when the driver of a Cadillac Escalade pulled out from behind a stopped vehicle and hit both of them, according to County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.
The suspect was described as a heavy-set man in his 20s with short hair and a goatee. The vehicle was a 2000 to 2006 pearl-white Cadillac Escalade with 22- to 24-inch chrome rims.
The vehicle likely has moderate damage to its front end and possibly the right side of its front bumper.
