FILLMORE (CBSLA.com) — At least one person was injured Monday morning when a large tree fell on three homes and a garage in Fillmore.
Firefighters responded to a call in the 500 block of Saratoga Street shortly after 6 a.m.
A woman went to the hospital with minor injuries after the giant Oak tree fell on her bedroom while she was sleeping, officials said.
One of the homes was red tagged. A second one was yellow tagged and a third home sustained minor damage. A separate garage was also destroyed.
Authorities say the tree appeared to be rotted.
