ARLETA (CBSLA.com) — Fire crews Monday were working to extinguish a trio of vegetation fires burning near the 118 and 5 Freeways.

Traffic was stopped from the 210 Freeway to San Fernando Road on the westbound side of the 118 Freeway. The Laurel Canyon Boulevard exit was also closed.

The fires were under control and expected to be extinguished shortly.

No other details were immediately released.
