WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they caught a graffiti suspect red-handed.
The arrest isn’t so unusual. Where they allegedly caught the tagger … is.
Police say suspect Jordan Trevor Lucas was tagging a men’s room stall at the Sheriff’s Academy in Whittier on Wednesday, September 5.
A sheriff’s lieutenant reportedly caught Lucas, 31, in the act.
He was reportedly using a black marker on one of the stall’s walls.
The lieutenant, it so happens, was using the facilities at the time.
For his part, a surprised Lucas said he thought he was in the restroom alone.
He faces one count of misdemeanor vandalism.
