Youth Pastor Arrested For Allegedly Molesting Teen
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for additional victims Wednesday after a youth pastor was arrested for allegedly molesting a teenager.
Rene Andrade, of Los Angeles, was arrested by San Bernardino police Tuesday on charges of lewd acts on a child, Lt. Paul Williams said.
According to authorities, Andrade and his teenage victim met at a San Bernardino church and continued their relationship over the phone and Facebook.
On at least one occasion, 43-year-old Andrade "drove to San Bernardino and engaged in sexual activity with the 15 year old victim," Williams said. He was arrested by police when he attempted to meet up with the victim again around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
