LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles County probation officer has been arrested for allegedly filing nine false injury claims dating back almost three years.

Authorities say Rochelle Williams was arrested Tuesday at department headquarters in Downey. They say Williams forged internal and medical documents to support her claims for workers compensation.

Williams has been relieved of duty and placed on administrative leave. She has worked for the department since 2006.
