PALM DESERT (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Monday continued to search for a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a gas station in Palm Desert.

Sheriff’s deputies said in a news release that robbery occurred about 4:15 a.m. at a USA Gas station on Highway 111.

Upon arrival, officers from the Palm Desert Police Department were told that the suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The statement said the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
