LAGUNA HILLS (AP) — The Orange County sheriff’s department says the boyfriend of a Santa Barbara woman who was found stabbed to death in Laguna Hills has been arrested in Arizona.
The department said Sunday that 25-year-old Derek Pinski of Laguna Hills was arrested in Mesa, Arizona, on suspicion of killing Alexandra Tang.
Paramedics were called Saturday around 11:15 a.m. to a Laguna Hills home where they found the homeowner performing CPR on the 24-year-old woman.
Paramedics took over the first aid, but the Tang had died.
The sheriff’s department says Tang was stabbed inside the home.
Pinski is awaiting extradition to Orange County.
