CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Crews have extinguished a one-acre brush fire that threatened homes in Corona Monday, authorities reported.

SKY9′s Gil Leyvas reported that the blaze ignited at Fairview Drive and Country Club Lane, in an area of brush surrounded by homes.

Firefighters were dispatched at 3:24 p.m. and were able to put out the blaze by 5:20 p.m., the dispatcher said.

There were no reports of injuries or structural damage.
