RIVERSIDE (CBS) — A 20-year-old San Diego man injured Friday in an accidental fireworks explosion died Sunday, coroner’s officials said in a written statement.
William Calabrese died from his injuries at 8:10 a.m. at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, according to the statement.
In the explosion, a Riverside Country Fire Department inspector was also injured.
Calabrese and the inspector were injured after a cache of fireworks set to be shot off Friday at the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball game exploded at once.
