Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend To Death In Bellflower

BELLFLOWER (CBS) —  A man was stabbed to death Saturday by his girlfriend in Bellflower, sheriff's officials said.

The stabbing happened about 2:50 a.m. in the 10100 block of Alondra Boulevard, according to Sgt. Pauline Panis of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

Deputies responding to a disturbance call found the man had been stabbed to death, Panis said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies later found the suspect, the victim's girlfriend, still inside the location, Panis said.

The girlfriend was arrested and booked for murder at the Lakewood sheriff's station, where she is being held on $1 million bail.

The names of the suspect and the victim are not being released at this time, Panis said.

There was no reason given for the stabbing.
