LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Time is ticking for two California residents to cash in on winning lottery tickets worth nearly $230,000.

The two tickets, each worth $227,955, were purchased at Hollywood Bazaar in Hollywood and a San Francisco liquor store during the $626 million lotto crazy earlier this year, according to California Lottery officials.

The winning numbers were 46, 23, 38, 4, 2 and Mega Number 23.

The two winning tickets will expire on Sept. 26. If unclaimed, the money will be given to California public schools.
