LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Bill and Giuliana Rancic are now the proud parents of a baby boy, the couple announced Thursday.

Edward Duke Rancic was born at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday via a surrogate in Denver, E! News said.

“The “Duke” has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz,” Bill Rancic, 41, tweeted Thursday. “G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!”

“THANK YOU for ur love & prayers!,” his wife also said on Twitter.

The couple announced they were expecting their first child via gestational carrier in late April after the E! News host publicly struggled with fertility, breast cancer and a miscarriage.
