HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CBS) — An accident involving as many as 10 vehicles Thursday prompted closure of three westbound lanes of the Pomona (60) Freeway in Hacienda Heights and left at least two people injured, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 9:35 a.m. near Hacienda Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Four people were treated by paramedics and transported to local hospitals, the CHP reported. One person was airlifted.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
