VALLEY GLEN (CBSLA.com) — Police say a woman suffered a gunshot wound to the foot after getting into an argument with her husband Wednesday.

The woman returned to her home, located in the 6000 block of North Fulton Avenue, at 2:10 p.m., according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Karen Rayner.

The wife reportedly found her husband under the influence of either drugs or alcohol, sparking an argument which led to the shooting.

The woman was taken to a hospital in stable condition, Rayner said.

Police are looking for the husband, who fled the scene. His description was not immediately available.
