Van Nuys Police Search For Hit-And-Run Driver Who Injured Pedestrian

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for a driver who struck and injured a pedestrian in the San Fernando Valley Saturday and then fled.

The accident was reported at 10:50 p.m. and occurred on Victory Boulevard, east of Columbus Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver struck a 34-year-old woman with a black Honda sedan, police reported.

The impact reportedly broke the woman's leg, fractured her arm and caused bruising. It also was forceful enough to break off the driver's side view mirror.
