KOREATOWN (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an 88-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing from Koreatown since Sunday.

Chong Pal Won, who only speaks Korean, was last seen walking away from his home in the 3600 block of West 9th Street, near Western Avenue.

Won was wearing an off-white Fedora-type hat, jacket, khaki pants and black shoes. He also walks with a cane.

Call Detective Alma Mercado at (213) 996-1800 with any information about Won’s location.
