KNX 1070 took an in-depth look at the city of Irvine on Aug. 24 as part of its ongoing series “KNX on Your Corner.”

KNX’s full day of programming examined Irvine’s relatively quick rise in status over the past 30 years, its future plans for growth, the city’s success in attracting businesses and educational institutions, and places of interest, including the Great Park.

Many officials and community leaders  appeared as special guests throughout the day.  KNX broadcast live from Corner Bakery Cafe in Irvine Spectrum Center.

“KNX on Your Corner” profiles the diverse cities and communities of Southern California and is presented by The Monitoring Center.
