Boy, 17, Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 17-year-old boy was fatally struck in a South Los Angeles crosswalk Thursday evening.
Authorities said the unidentified teen was walking in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.
No description was given for the driver or the vehicle.
The collision occurred at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Budlong Avenue at 6:09 p.m., said Los Angeles Police Officer Sara Faden.
The vehicle was going west on King Boulevard when it struck the teen, according to Faden.
