Angels Place Outfielder peter Bourjos On 15-Day DL With Sore Right Wrist

BOSTON (AP) -- The Los Angeles Angels have placed outfielder Peter Bourjos on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right wrist and promoted right-hander Garrett Richards from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Richards will work out of the bullpen. He is 3-2 with a 4.33 ERA in 10 games with the Angels this year, including nine starts.

Bourjos is hitting .227 with three homers and 19 RBIs in 88 games.

The Angels faced the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.
