LAKE FOREST (CBSLA.com) — A 51-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning for allegedly aiming a laser at an Orange County Sheriff’s Department helicopter, authorities said.

The incident occurred Thursday night while the helicopter was being used to conduct a burglary investigation.

According to authorities, the pilot was able to direct deputies to the suspect’s Lake Forest home, where he was taken into custody.

He was identified by authorities as Martin Miller.

Miller was being held on $27,000 bail.
