Chatsworth Police Call 32-Year-Old Woman's Death Suspicious

CHATSWORTH (CBSLA.com) — Police investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman suspect the man who found the body may be responsible.

Authorities were called to the 10800 block of Old Santa Susana Pass Road at approximately 6:45 p.m. Thursday after a male roommate discovered her body.

A neighbor told CBS2 that she didn't know the man in the house but called the death a tragedy.

"It's just bizarre that something like this is so close to home," the neighbor said.

Investigators say the death is suspicious given the woman's age and where her body was located in the house. The woman was found in a freezer, authorities said.

Police have not identified the woman.
