AZUSA (CBSLA.com) — A man in his 30s tried to kidnap a 14-year-old girl who was walking on an Azusa street Thursday, a sheriff’s deputy said.
The girl was walking on Orangecrest Avenue, north of Citrus Edge Street, at approximately 1 p.m. when the man grabbed her, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. David Vega said.
She broke free and ran away, Vega said.
The suspect was last seen driving westbound on Citrus Edge Street in a white Nissan pickup truck, police reported. He was described as having short, dark hair.
