WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A West Hollywood boutique is offering what’s called a “Braid Bar.”

Instead of a usual hair blowout, Nine Zero One customers can choose from different braids for a fixed price.

“You have different options of braids to choose from,” said salon co-owner Riawna Capri. “It’s simple, easy, quick, takes about 10 to 15 minutes and (it’s) 25 bucks.”

Capri and co-owner Nikki Lee trademark the name “Braid Bar” and the idea has swept the nation.

“I love the braids. It’s easy and it’s a fast fix to look good,” said a customer.

“This is a little bit of a blend between traditional braiding and what’s current,” said stylist Nicole Leal.

Capri said the braids are unique and, even better, someone else is doing all the hard work.

“It’s really difficult to do a braid as intricate as we have on the menu yourself,” she said.

“It makes you feel really pretty. When you have that braid in, you feel like a goddess,” said Lee.
