CORONA (CBSLA.com) — A Corona tutor was arrested Sunday for allegedly having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl.

Mathew Davis, 21, was booked at the Corona Police Department and charged with several counts of lewd acts with a minor. He was released after posting $25,000 bond.

An investigation on Davis started after the victim’s parents found online conversations between her and the suspect.

Police then discovered Davis met the 14-year-old while tutoring her at “Tutor Whiz” in Corona.

Detectives found more evidence of the alleged sexual relationship at Davis’ residence.
