LA County Sheriff's Deputy Pleads No Contest In Teenage Sex Case

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy Friday entered a no-contest plea to a sex charge involving an underage girl.

46-year-old Kenneth Alexander pleaded no contest to one count of oral copulation of a person under 18, according to the Deputy District Attorney.

At the time of the incident, Alexander was working at a sheriff's station in Marina del Rey.

He responded to a call at the girl's home and maintained a relationship with her from Aug. 2010 to Feb. 2011, according to authorities.

According to the District Attorney's Office, Alexander is looking at 60 days in county jail, one year of sex offender treatment and five years formal probation.

He's expected to be sentenced Aug. 29.
