STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Ever wonder what its like to be a local news reporter?

Author Bridgette Ehly visited the KCAL9 studios Friday to talk about her new book, Going Live.

Going Live if a fictional story giving readers a rare insight into what happenes behind-the-scenes at local TV stations around the country.

Ehly is a former television news journalist who worked for 15 years as a reporter and anchor. She covered news at KTVT in Dallas, WABU in Boston and WHAS in Louisville, as well as several small stations around the country.
