CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Two people were hospitalized Friday after a small plane crashed in Eastvale.
A flight instructor, who was in the middle of a lesson with a student, was approaching Chino Municipal Airport when he declared an emergency after losing engine power, officials said.
The single-engine Cessna then crashed in an open field at Citrus Street and Scholar Way just after 10 a.m., according to Cal Fire.
The plane struck a wooden fence before flipping over.
No other details were immediately available.
