Metro Bus Collides With 2 Vehicles In Palms, More Than A Dozen Injured

UPDATE 9:04 p.m. 12 people injured. The accident happened when the driver of the SUV crossed a center divider and crashed into the side of the Metro bus, according to Metro officials. The driver of the SUV is seriously injured.

UPDATE 7:07 p.m.: The 15 people's injures have been listed as minor. One person was seriously injured.

PALMS (CBSLA.com) — More than 15 people in a bus were injured Wednesday when two vehicles and a Metro bus collided in Palms.

The crash happened around 5:50 p.m. in the 9700 block of Venice Boulevard, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The drivers of the SUV and pickup truck have been treated and transported to the hospital.

Los Angeles City Fire is on the scene.

Venice Boulevard is closed for a couple blocks because of the accident.
