STUDIO CITY (CBS)— When it comes to the Food Network and great-tasting cupcakes, it’s not simply a competition, it’s war. Wonderland Custom Cakes, a local gourmet cupcake and cake bakery, waged war on other cupcakeries and came out victorious on both Cupcake Wars and Cupcake Champions.

Wonderland co-owner Anthony Valerio stopped by KCAL Monday to show off his ever-popular “adult” cupcakes. These specific treats require at least a 21-year-old’s palate, as they include a bit of alcohol. However, Wonderland’s ever-growing list of flavors have cupcake recipes that appeal to both kids and adults, as well as gluten-free options.

The “adult” cupcakes are inspired by poolside refreshments like Peach Bellini, Margarita and Pina Colada. Valerio designs all of the recipes himself out of Wonderland’s shop in Old Town Pasadena.
