ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — Two people are reportedly dead in a two-vehicle crash involving a car and U-Haul truck on the 60 Freeway in Ontario.

Officials say the victims — a woman and a 4-year-old child — were transported to nearby Kaiser Hospital where they were declared dead.

Another child, a one-year-old, was also taken to the hospital with injuries. The extent of that child’s injuries is not known.

The accident occurred on the westbound side of the freeway near Grove Avenue, according to authorities.

Witnesses said a small car spun out of control before being hit by the U-Haul.
