WATTS (CBS) — A horse went on a stroll Friday on East Imperial Highway in South Los Angeles but emerged from the experience unscathed, authorities said.
A woman was walking her mini horse on 116th Place in Watts when it got loose.
The horse was found in the yard of a home at 991 East 116th Place, said Sgt. Michael Castaneda of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Station.
The horse was missing for about 30 minutes until LAPD officers spotted the animal, Castaneda said.
Police summoned City of Los Angeles Department of Animal Regulation officials to pick up the horse, Castaneda said.
