STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Adrienne Appell of the Toy Industry Foundation stopped by KCAL9 Friday to give viewers some examples of charitable toys that give back.

“Make a Stand for Kids” is a (TIF) Toy Industry Foundation program that was created to empower kids to learn about the importance of charity and how to help those who are less fortunate.

TIF’s “Christmas in August” is a campaign that promotes giving toys regardless of the time of year.
