Overturned Big Rig Causes Delays On 110 Freeway In Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An overturned big rig was causing delays on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Monday afternoon.

Authorities were initially concerned the crash, which occurred at the connector from Interstate 10 to the 110 Freeway, may have caused a chemical spill.

Officials now say there was no spill, but it's still expected to take hours to clear the scene.

Commuters should expect traffic delays through rush hour.

The driver of the big rig was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
