LA QUINTA (CBS) — Authorities on Friday arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving following a crash in La Quinta.

The accident occurred just after 11:30 p.m. in the 54800 block of Avenida Madero.

A statement issued by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the driver as Kevin DaSilva of Manhattan Beach.

According to authorities, DaSilva was traveling north in a gray Porsche Cayenne when he veered to the left and slammed into a parked vehicle.

DaSilva was unharmed.

He was arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the statement.
