LOS ANGELES (AP) — One of the few turn-of-the-century homes remaining on Venice Beach’s famed oceanfront walk has been damaged from a fire that broke out amid throngs of sunseekers.
City News Service reported Sunday that firefighters extinguished the blaze about 12:30 p.m., shortly after it erupted from unknown causes. No injuries were reported.
The blue, two-story, wood-frame house was used as an MTV set for a summer reality show and has also been used as a medical marijuana dispensary.
