La Habra Family Concerned About Missing 71-Year-Old Woman

LA HABRA (CBS) — The La Habra Police Department is asking the public's assistance in locating a missing 71-year-old woman.

Eulalaia Ynzunza, who was discovered missing Friday at 5:52 p.m. has dementia.

Her family says she is also physically fragile. They say she has never wandered off before but she can get lost easily if she is by herself.

Both Ynzunza and her dog, named Rusty, are gone.

She was last seen at her home in the 500 block of Stone Harbor Circle.

Ynzunza, also known as Lolly, is a female Hispanic, who is approximately 4'11" tall and weighs 130 pounds.

She has brown eyes, gray hair, and wears glasses.

Her family says she was last seen wearing a green jacket, beige shorts, and gray/blue shoes.

Ynzunza's family says that she had lunch with a son and that he dropped her off at home. She told him she was going to take a nap.

When her daughter-in-law came home about 5:15 she became aware that Ynzunza and her dog (a chihuahua and terrier mix) were both gone.

Two bloodhounds are in the area trying to pick up the woman's scent.

David Ynzunza, another son, told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Rachel Kim, "we drove every alley, every place, it's just brutal."

He and other family members have literally spent the past 24 hours just searching. "I probably had three hours sleep," says David.

Anyone who may have seen Ynzunza, or an individual matching her description, is urged to contact the La Habra Police Department at (562) 905-9750.
