LOS ANGELES (AP) – Veteran big man Ronny Turiaf has signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers announced the latest move in their offseason overhaul Friday.
Turiaf finished last season with the NBA champion Miami Heat, playing intermittently in the postseason before sitting out all but 3 minutes of the NBA Finals. He began last season with Washington, breaking his hand after just four games.
The Clippers will be the sixth team in eight NBA seasons for Turiaf, who spent his first three years with the Lakers. Turiaf is in London playing for France in the Olympics.
The Clippers have added Lamar Odom, Jamal Crawford, Grant Hill and Ryan Hollins in the past month, thoroughly revamping a solid team that reached the second round of the postseason.
