LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A transgender man is recovering Thursday after being attacked overnight in downtown Los Angeles.

The attack occurred just after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Stanford Avenue and 10th Street, Los Angeles police said.

The unidentified victim suffered non-life threatening stab wounds to his leg, according to police. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Officials say the stabbing happened following an argument between the two men.

Police are looking for a male suspect. No further details were released.
