Police Seek Public's Help In Murder Of 22-Year-Old Man

NORWALK (CBS) — Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials are asking for the public's help in solving the murder of a 22-year-old man.

Robert Garcia was fatally shot on June 28 in the 13500 block of Norwalk Boulevard in Norwalk, detectives said.

Garcia, a driver at Vernola's Towing Service, was completing his shift when he was approached by three Hispanic men and shot, said officials.

"The victim was then chased and fatally shot at the front door of the tow facility," detectives said in a statement.

Officials say the murder was caught on surveillance video. Authorities have no motive for the crime.

Garcia left behind a wife and two children.

Anyone with information should call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at (323) 890-5500.
