3.7M Earthquake Shakes Southland

MARINA DEL REY (CBS) — Los Angeles-area residents awoke to a minor earthquake early Wednesday morning.

The 3.7 earthquake struck at 3:18 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.

The temblor was epicentered two miles east-southeast of Marine del Rey, officials said.

There were no reports of damage or injuries, but celebrities took to Twitter to respond to the quake.
