SAN PEDRO (CBS) —Police are looking for the person who stabbed a man Saturday near Jack in the Box in San Pedro.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Fifth and Gaffey streets, a Los Angeles police sergeant at the Harbor station said.

The victim, about 20, was alone inside the fast food restaurant when he was approached by about 10 to 15 young men.

“The victim was able to run out, but they chased him down, and one suspect stabbed him in the abdomen,” he said. “They all split.”

The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital where he’s in stable condition.
