SAN DIEGO (CBS) – San Diego Chargers have released defensive end Luis Castillo, says Kevin Acee of the San Diego Tribune.
Chargers defensive lineman Luis Castillo is being released.

Castillo, 28, fractured his leg in the first game of the 2011 season and was placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
Castillo, who played for the Chargers his whole career, had his best year in 2005, his rookie season, when he played all 16 game. He had 49 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
