STUDIO CITY (CBS)  — Author Carole Brody Fleet stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to discuss her new book, Happily Even After.

The book answers common questions a widow has following a spouse’s death. It’s the first and only book of its kind that guides readers through emotional stages, as well as financial and legal issues that may come up.

Fleet formed a non-profit organization, Widows Wear Stilettos, which is also the title of her first book.

As a “go-to” media authority on grief and loss recovery, the U.S. Army recently contacted Fleet to work with those who have lost loved ones in the service.
